Overview
LLM API Request ("the App") is a utility application that enables you to send requests to Large Language Model (LLM) providers through Apple Shortcuts. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the App.
Data We Collect
Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
- API Keys: Your LLM provider API keys are stored securely in your device's Keychain. These keys never leave your device except when sent directly to your chosen LLM provider for authentication.
- Token Usage Statistics: The App tracks token usage (input tokens, output tokens, model used, and timestamps) locally using SwiftData. This data is stored only on your device and is used to display usage charts in the Dashboard.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect any personal information
- We do not collect analytics or usage data
- We do not use cookies or tracking technologies
- We do not have user accounts or registration
- We do not operate any servers that receive your data
Third-Party Services
When you use the App to send requests to LLM providers, your data is transmitted directly from your device to the third-party provider you select. The App supports the following providers:
When you send a request through the App:
- Your prompt/message is sent directly to the selected provider
- Any attached files (images, PDFs, text files) are sent to the provider
- Your API key is sent to authenticate the request
Important: Each provider has their own privacy policy governing how they handle your data. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any providers you use.
Data Security
- API Keys: Stored using Apple's Keychain Services with
kSecAttrAccessibleWhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly protection. Keys are encrypted and can only be accessed when your device is unlocked.
- Face ID / Touch ID: Used to protect viewing of your stored API keys within the App.
- Network Security: All communications with LLM providers use HTTPS encryption.
Data Retention
- API Keys: Stored until you manually delete them from the App.
- Token Usage Data: Stored on your device until you clear it or delete the App.
You can delete your data at any time:
- Delete individual API keys from the Settings screen
- Token usage data is removed when you uninstall the App
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.

Your Rights

- Uninstall the App to remove all local data
